Walk for Hope – 1.3 Mile Walk

Calling all local runners, walkers, families and friends! Come join Catch the Wave of Hope for the Walk for Hope, an evening of movement, community and making a difference in the lives of children.

The 1.3-mile walk starts at DT Beauty and finishes at Ocean Republic Brewing, where the post-walk celebration begins at 6:15 PM.

Come early to purchase an exclusive Walk for Hope T-shirt. Shirts will also be available for presale at DT Beauty on August 26 from 10 AM–1 PM and beginning at 4:30 PM before the walk on August 28. Quantities and sizes are limited.

There’s plenty happening after the walk, including kids’ crafts, fairy hair, permanent jewelry, local vendors, a live DJ, raffle packages, food and drinks.

Raffle tickets will be available for packages donated by local businesses and community supporters. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, with 100% of raffle proceeds supporting the mission.

Ocean Republic Brewing will also donate 10% of food and drink sales to Catch the Wave of Hope.

Most importantly, 100% of event proceeds go directly toward the mission of Catch the Wave of Hope, helping prevent the exploitation and trafficking of children through awareness and education while providing restoration to survivors.

Whether you’re running, walking, bringing the kids, grabbing dinner, entering the raffle or simply coming out to support the cause, the TC Running community is invited to be part of the evening.
