Downtown Dash 5k

Mike Melton has brought back one of the great old summertime 5Ks as he resurrects the iconic Downtown Dash 5K, but this time the race will actually be held in downtown – downtown Stuart, that is!  The race starts and finishes in Flagler Park, just past the Stuart Feedstore museum and in the shadow of the Roosevelt Bridge.  We’re also going to beat the heat by starting Saturday morning at 6:00 AM – yes, that’s right – 6:00 AM.  Proceeds from the race will benefit area cross country teams – so it’s a great local cause!  Finisher’s awards, age group awards every five years from 10 and Under to 80 and Over, and a handful of raffle prizes means that everyone will walk away with something!  Post-race refreshments, two on-course water stops, chip timing start to finish line, and quality cotton/poly blend t-shirts to the first 200 entrants are all included.  Come join us at the crack of dawn and run one of the fastest flattest 5K courses you’ll ever find!  You know this will be a quality event because Mike Melton is organizing it!  TC Running Premium members receive a $5 discount!  Pre-race packet pickup at Fleet Feet Stuart running store from 2 PM until 6 PM on Friday July 25, race-day packet pickup starting at 5:00 AM.  Sign up today!THIS IS A TC RUNNING RACE SERIES RACE!
