DESCRIPTION:Community Comes Together for a Successful 2nd Annual 10th Street Track Out in Stuart\nThe Treasure Coast running community came together on Saturday\, January 24\, for the 2nd Annual 10th Street Track Out\, a celebration of youth\, fitness\, and community held at the newly resurfaced Russell Holloway Jr Track at the Guy Davis Sports Complex. \nHosted by Treasure Coast Running\, the event took place from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on a picture-perfect sunny afternoon and welcomed runners\, families\, volunteers\, and spectators from across the area. Teams must meet age groupings set by race director. Each relay race counts as an individual event in the ‘choose 4 flat fee’ format. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, October 11th for the Fifth Annual Martin County NAACP 5k/10k Run/Walk. \nThis course takes you through the historic East Stuart neighborhood. All registration fees will support the work of the Martin County NAACP\, a branch of the nation’s largest and oldest civil rights organization. Each year\, high school students across the country start a journey to sharpen their skills through the Afro-Academic\, Cultural\, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO). From visual arts and business to performing and culinary arts\, participants work with community-based volunteers for a year to develop projects and performances. The experience culminates in local and national events where students compete for scholarships and other rewards.\nMore info and to get involved: https://shorturl.at/cszCX \nRACE DETAILS: \nThe race will begin and end at the Russell Holloway Jr Track\, next to Guy Davis Field\, located behind the Community Center on East 10th Street.  The race begins promptly at 7:00am. This will be a great run with friends and family for runners of all skill levels. There will be awesome medals for finishers\, a souvenir race t-shirt\, and age group awards. \nPACKET PICK UP:\nPacket Pick Up will be Thursday\, October 9\, at the Fleet Feet Stuart store\, from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM.  Fleet Feet is located at 2440 NW Federal Hwy\, Stuart FL 34994\, and Friday\, October 10\, at the 10th Street Community Center\, from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM.  The Community Center is located at 724 NE 10th Street\, Stuart FL 34994. \nThere will be RACE-DAY Packet Pickup from 6:00 AM until 6:50 AM Saturday morning. \nYou can register in person at Packet Pick Up\, and there will be last minute registration on race day morning.  Cash\, check or credit card can be accepted. \nHYDRATION INFO:\nThere will be two water stops along the course\, one at the start/finish line and one at the midway point of course.\nIn accordance with the City of Stuart’s single use plastic ban\, you will find pre hydration. Please note that we will not be providing bottled water at the event.
