SUMMARY:Reverse 5K Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Help June by attending the Reverse 5K Fun Run. Entry is only $15.00\, and every additional dollar donated gets you a raffle ticket to win one of our many prize baskets! All proceeds benefit Martin County Healthy Start where they ensure every baby is born healthy\, every mother supported\, and every father involved. \nThe entire 1.3 mile course will begin and end inside Indian Riverside Park. Walk or run through the beautiful shady park and finish on the dock with a celebratory photo! Strollers\, kids\, and pets are encouraged to come! Spend time at the Children’s Museum afterwards! SUMMARY:Summer Solstice 5k
DESCRIPTION:TEAM COMPETITION – GET YOUR FRIENDS AND RUNNING BUDDIES TOGETHER AND RUN AS A TEAM – WIN GREAT PRIZES!  \nTC Running Premium members receive a 10% discount!   \nTeams of 5 to 10 runners compete for prizes for each of the three Summer Sizzler races (Summer Solstice 5K\, Downtown Dash 5K\, and Beach to Beach 5K) as well as a Team Grand Prize for the team that wins the combined three-race series competition! \nHere’s how it works – you get a team of at least 5 but no more than 10 runners together\, and enter each race in the Series (or use the Three-Race Bundle for a better price).  At each race\, your team is scored just like in Cross Country – the top five runners on the team are scored\, by adding up the OVERALL PLACE each runner finishes in the race.  Lowest score wins\, and if there’s a tie score\, the tie is broken by the sixth runner’s place. \nThe Summer Solstice 5K takes place at Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach\, and race proceeds will benefit area cross country teams.  The other two races in the Summer Sizzler Race Series are the Downtown Dash 5K Saturday July 26 at Flagler Park in Stuart\, and the Beach To Beach 5K Run Friday August 23 at the beach in Jensen Beach. \nThe Summer Solstice 5K course will be paved roads\, residential streets and some concrete sidewalk. \nFinisher’s awards\, age group awards every five years from 10 and Under to 80 and Over\, and a handful of raffle prizes means that everyone will walk away with something!  Post-race refreshments\, two on-course water stops\, chip timing start to finish line\, and quality cotton/poly blend t-shirts to the first 200 entrants are all included.  Come join us at the crack of dawn and run one of the fastest flattest 5K courses you’ll ever find!  You know this will be a quality event because Mike Melton is organizing it!  Enter now at $45 until June 15\, when entry jumps to $50. \nPre-race packet pickup at Fleet Feet Stuart running store from 2 PM until 6 PM on Friday June 20.  Sign up today! \nhttps://runsignup.com/Race/FL/JensenBeach/SummerSolstice5KRun
