DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 3rd annual Wagging Tails on the Trails 5K and 9K Race at Pepper Park Riverside in Fort Pierce on Hutchinson Island! \nFebruary 7\, 2026 race starts at 7:30 a.m. This 5K loop is a flat hard packed trail that winds through mangroves and beautiful hammocks along the Indian River Lagoon. NEW this year is a 9K option in support of the K9 unit. \nRegistration Includes: \n\nT-shirt\nFinisher Medal\n5k Run/walk entry\nChip timed race bib\nFinish line treats for fur babies\n\nThis race is very dog friendly! Feel free to bring your leashed\, four-legged running buddy to enjoy the trail with you.  All dogs to cross the finish line receive a treat! Water bowls available at the water station and around the expo area. Please clean up after your pets and come prepared with poop bags. Pets must be friendly and non-aggressive to other dogs or people. Dogs must be leashed at ALL times. \nWe have no shirt/ no medal option available. For this option you will just be participating in the race and will not receive the medal or shirt. You can receive an award if you place. \n  \nPuppy Dash for kids 10 and under. A short fast race that will take place around 8:45. Kids will receive a yummy cupcake when they cross the finish line. It is held a month after the Disney Marathon. Like a Rock-n-Roll marathon\, our event includes up to 12 musical acts along the course of the half and full marathon and half a dozen on the routes of the Sunshine State Lager 10K & 5k. \nHome \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\nSunday\, February 8\, 2026\nRace Day \nSunrise : 7:04am \n\n\nStart Times\n\nMarathon: 6:10am\nHalf Marathon: 6:30am\n10k: 7am\n5K: 7:10am\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere is a 7 hour time limit on the Marathon course.  Half Marathoners have 5 hours to complete the event. This race is in conjunction with the Marathon of the Treasure Coast. \nThe race begins promptly at 7:00am. The race will begin and end at Memorial Park in Downtown Stuart. \nA great place to run with friends and family and PR. \nThere will be awesome medals for all finishers\, a souvenir race tech shirt and age group awards. \nRace shirts are guaranteed for the first overall 300 registered participants. \nSizes are not guaranteed after February 14\, 2026. \nPacket Pick Up will be held Friday\, 2/27 from 12-6:00pm at the 10th Street Community Center located at 724 SE 10th Street in Stuart. \nRace Day packet pick up will open on Saturday\, February 28th at 6am. \nFinisher medals will be given at the end of race. There will be bottled water in coolers and a nutrition table for your enjoyment. \nCourse information: There will be three water stops along the course 1 for the 5k and 2 for the 10k (the 1 for the 5K will be a double stop) We strongly encourage you to bring your own nutrition and hydration if you need more than water. \nWalk 4H2O is back! This is a one mile walk for all to participate in.\nAll proceeds from the walk will support Water for South Sudan.
